Stop blowing your prop accounts. Follow the plan your own numbers give you.
Auction Edge imports your trades on its own and tells you every morning how many contracts to take, with which stop, how much you can lose, and what's left to pass your account. Computed on your trades, not on a forum average.
A prop account is rarely lost on the setup. It's lost on size, the MLL and revenge trading.
Your loss limit follows your highest balance. You make $800, give back $600, and find out your room has melted. Nobody showed it to you.
3 contracts or 6? Most traders pick by gut. The journal computes the size that gives you the best chance of passing, on your real trades.
The extra loss comes after two losses, five minutes after the last one. The journal spots it on its own, and Trading Buddy stops it.
Three minutes to get started. Then it works on its own.
Your trades come in on their own

You describe YOUR method
You build your strategy with blocks: the liquidity you target (BSL, FVG, VAH, LVN…) and your confirmations. The journal adapts to you, not the other way around.
You follow the plan
Every day: size, stop, target, number of trades, max loss. And your road to passing, step by step.
All your accounts. Your MLL. Your road to payout.
You enter your prop firm's rules (Topstep, Apex, Lucid, Tradeify…: EOD, intraday or static, daily loss limit, consistency, minimum days). The journal tracks every account day by day, the way your prop firm does.
| Account | Phase | Balance | MLL · room | To target / payout | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50K · #1 | Evaluation | $51,940 | $50,000 · $1,940 | 65% | 🟢 Running |
| 50K · #2 | Evaluation | $53,120 | $50,000 · $3,120 | 100% | 🏆 Passed |
| 25K · funded | Funded | $26,310 | $25,000 · $1,310 | payout ready | 💸 Payout available |
| 100K · #1 | Evaluation | $98,760 | $97,900 · $860 | 0% | 🟠 Close to the MLL |
The limit that rises, finally visible.
The journal recomputes your MLL the way your prop firm does: every evening (EOD), on every trade (intraday) or never (static), and stops at the starting balance if that's the rule. You always see how many losses you have left before the limit.
- Your remaining room in $ and in number of losses
- “Close to the MLL” flagged before it's too late
- Daily loss limit and consistency rule included
Where you stand, and the next step.
25%, 50%, 75%, target, minimum days, consistency: each step ticks itself off with your trades. The next one is spelled out, with the number of winning days you need at today's size.
How many contracts tomorrow? Try it.
This is the heart of the journal. Too small, you pay months of subscription; too big, you pay resets. It simulates your account, subscription and resets included, and suggests the size that gets you funded the fastest for the least money. Here with your numbers; in the journal, with your real trades.
Model: end-of-day trailing MLL, locked at the start · 2 losses = day over · 5 trades max · fees $1.50 per contract · a loss can slip up to 30% past the stop · the subscription is paid every month of trading (21 days), a lost account restarts at the same price. Your true win rate is uncertain: each future draws it at random around your number, wider when you have few trades.
And with more or fewer contracts? Average cost to get funded · ★ = the cheapest within your daily loss budget · greyed = beyond it · click to try
Your certificate appears the evening you pass.
Target hit, minimum days and consistency met: the journal sees it before you do. Your certificate is created with your real numbers, ready to post.
- Then one click: the account moves to “Funded”
- Payouts, buffer and winning days tracked until the next payout
Your next payout, to the dollar.
Buffer to keep, minimum payout, required winning days, your split: you enter the rules, the journal tells you when you can withdraw and how much. Every payout received is logged, and your prop firm balance sheet builds itself: what your accounts cost you, what they paid you.
ICT, order flow or both: build your strategy with blocks.
Pick the liquidity you target and your confirmations. One click on each trade. The journal then tells you which strategy, which liquidity and which confirmation really pay you.
R per trade by targeted liquidity · example, with the number of trades.
It sees what you'd rather not see.
No tagging needed: costly behaviors are spotted from your times, your sizes and your results, with their exact cost.
- 🔁Revengean entry a few minutes after a loss (you set the delay)
- ⬆️Size increased after a lossthe reflex that empties prop accounts
- 🔢Overtradingbeyond your number of trades per day
- 🛑Loss bigger than your stopstop moved or never placed
- 📰Trade around high-impact newsCPI, NFP, FOMC: ± 15 minutes, calendar updated automatically
A bubble on your platform. Your rules, live: 2 losses = stop, 1 winner = day over, a pause after a loss.
A real edge, or a lucky streak?
Before you risk an account, find out whether your result holds up. The journal runs this test on your real trades. Try it here with your numbers.
This calculation assumes wins and losses of constant size. The journal uses the real distribution of your trades.
The grey band is what pure luck produces 95% of the time. As long as your dot is inside it, your result can be explained by luck.

Which platforms are supported?
Tradesea and TopstepX automatically. Tradovate, NinjaTrader and most platforms through a CSV export, with the date format detected on its own.
Does it work with my prop firm?
You enter your account's rules: size, target, MLL (EOD, intraday or static, locked at the start or not), daily loss limit, consistency, minimum days, payout rules. They often differ between prop firms: the journal asks you to check them, and an empty rule is never made up.
I have several accounts. Are they tracked separately?
Yes. Each account has its own rules, MLL, phase (evaluation or funded) and payouts. One table shows all your accounts at once, with your balance sheet: what they cost you, what they paid you.
Are the pass percentages reliable?
They are estimates: the journal replays your own trades thousands of times with your account's rules. It accounts for the fact that your stats may be luck, and always shows how many trades it's based on. Under 30 trades, it tells you.
I don't trade ICT or order flow.
No problem: the blocks are examples. You add your own words (support, moving average, breakout…) and the journal measures what pays you, whatever your method.
Can the journal place orders?
No. It only reads your closed trades. It never clicks on your platform and has no way to open or close a position. Trading Buddy can only lock the screen when your rules are hit.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On whop.com → Orders → Auction Edge Journal → Cancel. If you cancel during the 7-day trial, you aren't charged. After that, access stays open until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Where is my data stored?
In your browser, on your computer. Your trades are never sent to a server. A backup is created every week in your Downloads folder, and you can export or delete everything in one click.
Is the certificate an official document?
No: it's generated by the journal from your trades, to celebrate and share your pass. The only official document is your prop firm's.
Does the chart background get in the way of reading prices, or slow TradingView down?
No. It goes under the chart: candles, levels and labels stay drawn on top, and the price scale keeps its background. It's capped at 30 frames per second, pauses when the tab is hidden, and turns off with Alt + Shift + B.
Which browsers?
Chrome, and Chrome-based browsers like Edge or Brave, on Windows and Mac.
Is this investment advice?
No. The journal describes your past results and their statistical reliability, and applies the rules you give it. It never recommends buying or selling anything.
